CLA South East: Running a Great Estate, Tour & Lunch at Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is a World Heritage Site with over 300 years of history and currently home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family. A historic house and gardens takes a huge amount of running and this talk and tour will give you an exclusive, insider’s guide in to how a great estate is run.

Join us on the terraces of the Palace on Friday 23rd July from 10am -2pm, with tea and coffee and a welcome from Michael Valenzia, CLA Regional Director.

Roy Cox, Estates Director, will then talk about his role at the Estate, how they have been affected by the pandemic and what new experiences, exhibitions and features they have in store for 2021 and beyond.

We will then go out on a walking tour of the estate, looking at all the work that goes in to running the estate as well as what changes they have made during lockdown. Following the tour we return to the Orangery, overlooking the Italian Terrace, for a delicious lunch.

Blenheim have also kindly provided all the guests with tickets to enjoy the palace, exhibitions and gardens at your own leisure after lunch.

This really is a very exciting opportunity to join us for a tour of this wonderful estate.

To join us, please register below. The cost is £20 per person, plus VAT.

N.B. The guided walking tour will take approx. 90 minutes, you must be able to walk for this length of time. This event will only run if Covid guidelines permit. If the event is cancelled, we will offer you a full refund.
