Join us to explore Windermere’s 200-year-old boating history, with the experiences of the lake’s boats, builders, owners and sailors, through interactive displays, oral histories and a fascinating collection of boats, equipment and curiosities. Including a 30 minute boat trip on Windermere Lake.

Also Blackwell which is a rare architectural gem, offering a perfectly preserved snapshot of early 20th-century living. Designed by noted architect Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott, this Grade I listed building is one of the UK’s finest examples of Arts & Crafts architecture, and is a practice that is inspired by the natural world, while embracing traditional craft skills in an age of increasing mechanisation and mass production.

11.45 am Depart to Windermere Jetty Museum( a short drive to the venue plenty of parking available)
