To help landowners understand how we can grant fund 100% of woodland creation costs, and support woodland management and habitat creation work, we’re hosting two farm-based events this May. They will be an opportunity to discuss all aspects of forestry, including motivations for planting, woodland design, management considerations and grant funding, and have a look at examples at Feanedock, Moira and Mease Meadows, Edingale.

National Forest Company staff and landowners/managers will give a brief overview of the woodland planting over breakfast, before leading the group on a walk around the farm woodlands.

8:15am: Breakfast is served.
8:45am: Overview of the woodland planting.
9:00am: Walk around the farm.
11:00am: Back at the farm, wrap-up and depart.
