The barn, once a humble chicken shed, features super-insulation, zero running costs, and focuses on harnessing passive solar heat. Its energy-efficient features, including solar panels and Tesla power walls, align with the latest amendments to Class Q, which encourage such sustainable conversions. The integration of a large water tank and a full septic-tank system which feeds into a reed bed pond further demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship.
