Severn Valley Flowers, created by Sarah and Harry Pitt, lies next to the River Severn on part of the family farm in Alveley, near Bridgnorth.  Now in their second season, they have created a cutting garden with sustainable floristry at the core of their business.

2024 has begun with the first of their weddings and events.  With a commitment to developing the garden to supply perennials, shrubs and foliage for their own event work, they also supply local retailers and established floral designers in the area.

British flowers are currently enjoying a resurgence with the help of Flowers from the Farm, an expanding organisation now with over 1000 members. The group comprise of growers florists, an array of botanical creatives and designers who are passionate about reminding buyers there is an equal, reliable, and often superior, supply of stems available in this country, at least throughout the main season. 

Severn Valley Flowers is one of several micro flower farms in South Shropshire. Together they have created a mini hub, collaborating stock, to supply each other for their work.

Christmas will see the return of swag making workshops from Sarah and Harry’s home in Alveley. This year they are delighted to be hosting the CLA’s Midlands Women's Network meeting on 28th November. The gathering will incorporate a creative feel as Sarah will be delivering a miniature swag making workshop throughout the meeting, enabling members to network, create and light lunch at the same time.

There will be a cold fork buffet lunch and dessert with refreshments available on the day. 

Their Christmas gift shop will also be open with seasonally floral gifts available to buy. We are looking forward to hosting whilst nudging everyone gently into the festive spirit.
