This webinar is free to attend, but places must be booked.
We are co-hosting a webinar that will outline how important it is for CLA members across Hampshire to get involved in the county's Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).
CLA South East adviser Lucy Charman will chair the session, with Hampshire County Council providing the latest information on the strategy.
Landowners are being asked for their views on the Draft Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Hampshire which sets out a series of biodiversity priorities to help reverse nature’s decline.
Produced in conjunction with a wide range of organisations, the draft strategy maps the most valuable existing habitat for nature, setting out proposals for creating, restoring and enhancing habitats, and suggests priorities and targets for nature's recovery.
During this webinar you will hear from the Laura McCulloch, Head of Spatial Planning for Hampshire County Council, to explain the strategies, their role and a live demonstration of the interactive map to enable landowners to respond effectively to the consultation.
The public consultation is open until 23 June and this webinar will explain why every landowner should spend some time reviewing what LNRS measures are mapped on their land
