Tuesday, 23 September 2025, 6pm to 8.30pm.
Kindly hosted by Carter Jonas at One Chapel Place, London, W1G 0BG.
Ben is the managing director of the Harewood Estate near Leeds. He has worked in sectors focused on environmental management, species conservation and sustainability for over 20 years, which has seen him live and work in the UK, Mauritius, Central America and the Himalayas. In 2015 Ben moved back to Harewood, his family's home for over 250 years.
The estate spans 4,000 acres, much of which can be seen from Harewood House, and includes around 100 listed features, including two scheduled monuments, as well as areas of ancient woodland and arable.
In the last 10 years it has become increasingly diverse, and its operations and offerings now include commercial units, residential properties, holiday cottages, filming, renewable energy generation, food production, health and wellbeing, outdoor education and hospitality.
Ben is a firm believer in creating a more sustainable future and has overseen a range of new initiatives aimed at greening the business, and protecting and improving the landscapes, habitats and biodiversity found at Harewood.
