Focusing on income opportunities generated through natural capital trading, this joint event run by CLA East and the Environmental Farmers Group (EFG), will explore how to deliver positive environmental change at a landscape-scale.
Kindly hosted by Courteenhall Managing Partner Johnny Wake, the first session will cover how EFG strategise financing environmental delivery. EFG is a cooperative of farmers delivering positive environmental change, supported by some of the UK’s leading natural capital specialists.
The group acts as a trusted navigator for farmers and landowners by providing a cohesive approach to baselining, planning and monitoring natural capital.
This will be followed by a session from the CLA’s Chief Land Use Policy Adviser Susan Twining who will discuss how the CLA can support members who are seeking advice on the opportunities within this sector.
Gary Markham from Land Family Business will offer guidance on financial aspects of natural capital and Anglian Water will conclude the morning with a short update on local water quality and supply.
Johnny Wake will then provide delegates with a walking tour of the farm. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
A buffet lunch will be served on the day. Places are limited so early booking is advised.
