Set within a charming and historic rural setting, Moor Wood provides an ideal backdrop for a day exploring how nature-based approaches can support resilient, future-focused land management.

This event will bring together expert speakers to guide you through the evolving natural capital landscape. Attendees will hear from the CLA’s Land Use Policy Team on national policy developments and practical implications for landowners, as well as from Zulu Ecosystems, who will share real-world examples of collaborative water and carbon solutions working across catchments.

Additional specialist speakers will be announced shortly, and the full agenda will be added once final confirmations are in place. The programme will cover key areas such as biodiversity net gain, ELMs, environmental markets, carbon, and practical approaches to delivering and financing environmental outcomes.

Following the morning sessions, attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch and networking, before heading out on a guided farm walk hosted at Moor Wood. This will offer a valuable opportunity to see land management in practice and to discuss how natural capital principles can be applied at a local level.
