Discover the Charm of Godinton House – A Day of History, Inspiration & Engaging Conversation
Join us for a memorable day at the magnificent Godinton House, a beautifully preserved 14th-century estate set within the heart of the Kent countryside. Whether you’re a long-standing member or new to our community, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore one of Kent’s hidden treasures and enjoy a truly enriching programme.
Step inside a home that has lovingly evolved over more than 600 years. Unlike many grand houses, Godinton offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, allowing you to imagine life as it once was. Discover an impressive collection of art, furniture, and fascinating curiosities before wandering through the stunning, meticulously maintained gardens. From the iconic yew hedge to the Italian and wild gardens bursting with seasonal colour, every corner offers something special.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear first-hand about the diverse work happening across the Estate’s 900 acres—spanning farmland, forestry, residential cottages, small business units, craft workshops, and the exciting new education programme. Learn how local children are getting hands-on with the seed-to-soup initiative, nurturing produce from planting to cooking.
This event blends learning, networking, and cultural discovery — all set against the backdrop of a truly inspiring location.
