Join us for the 2026 Emsden Award presentation (representing farming with nature), hosted by the 2025 recipient, Thanet Earth, along with a tour of their complex followed by drinks and a light supper.

Thanet Earth is Britain’s leading glasshouse complex that sits proudly within the landscape of East Kent. These enormous glasshouses are estimated to produce around 400 million tomatoes, 33 million cucumbers and 20 million peppers each year.

Innovation, environmental concern and a focus on quality combine with cutting-edge technology, international expertise and the best growing conditions in the UK to produce unrivalled taste on a commercial scale.

Following the tour and awards there will be a light picnic buffet, sampling some of Thanet's products.
