An evening of insights, funding opportunities, and practical advice for woodland creation and managementIt will be an informative and engaging evening focused on the value, opportunities, and future of woodlands in England. Whether you’re a landowner, estate manager, or simply passionate about trees and sustainable land use, this session brings together leading experts to explore how woodlands can deliver environmental, financial, and community benefits; today and for generations to come.
The evening will also explore the growing and management of Cricket Bat Willows, looking at the opportunities that they can offer landowners. We’ll consider the practicalities of establishing and managing willow for cricket bat production, as well as the potential long-term value of this distinctive British-grown timber.
