CLA South East: Denbies Wine Estate, Tour, Tasting and Lunch


English wines have been making their mark on the industry for some years now and are widely celebrated, at home and abroad. Join us for a talk, tour and tasting, followed by a networking lunch at Denbies Wine Estate, one of the UK’s most accomplished vineyards.

The event will start with a talk from Denbies CEO, Chris White, about the Estate, which has been family owned and run since 1984. This will be followed by a talk from Simon Robinson, Chair of Wine GB, talking about English vines, wines and winegrowers in the UK.

After this we will take the 50 minute Vineyard Train for a guided tour of the vineyard showing some of the most beautiful viewing points on the Estate, before returning to the Garden Room for a tasting session. Following this we will have a delicious hot buffet lunch where you can to talk to the speakers and meet other CLA members.
