Nestled on the Whitbourne Estate is Crumplebury Farm, its old outbuildings now transformed into the perfect venue for guests looking for something out of the ordinary, with a focus on culinary excellence, food provenance and the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
The Whitbourne Estate has been in the Evans family since 1860 and in 2011 Joe Evans took over the management of the estate. At its core, it is a traditional estate engaged in farming, forestry and property. However, in recent years the Evans have diversified into leisure and education with Longlands Care Farm, as well as the award-winning restaurant, The Green Cow Kitchens.
Following the success of the restaurant, Joe and his wife Keeley opened Crumplebury last year. This visit will be a unique opportunity to witness first-hand the passion, vision and plans Joe and Keeley have for the Whitbourne Estate.
