East Midlands Community Led Housing (EMCLH) offers a range of services to communities, landowners, local authorities and organisations that want to develop community-led housing. They work with communities and landowners anywhere in the East Midlands and nearby counties that have vision, drive and ambition to develop community-led homes. Sir Richard Tollemache of the Buckminster Estate, and CLA Leicestershire and Rutland Branch President, sits on the EMCLH Board so landowner representation and views are present right at the heart of the organisation.

This webinar will be of interest to those who own or manage land and are looking to investigate alternative methods of delivering rural housing.

During the webinar we will hear from CLA National Housing Advisor, Avril Roberts, who will highlight some of the challenges landowners face when try to deliver rural housing.

Martin Field of EMCLH will then explain what community led housing is, how if differs from other delivery methods and the benefits landowners might expect by adopting this approach.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions of the panellists and members will come away with knowledge of a rural housing delivery option that they possibly hadn’t previously been aware of or didn’t understand.
