Stody Estate is a family-run, diversified and ever-evolving estate in the heart of North Norfolk’s finest rolling countryside. The farming operation includes wheat for the milling and livestock industries, malting and feed barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet, maize, as well as rye, potatoes and echalion shallots. There is a premium pig unit, a prize-winning Aberdeen Angus suckler herd and a Texel sheep flock.

The estate has undertaken several ambitious reservoir projects in recent years, which is essential for the production of its crops. These reservoirs help to significantly reduce the environmental impact of its summer irrigation. You will see sand and gravel quarrying to create the newest reservoir as well as a solar project used to power the pumps on the reservoir.

As part of the estates Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, it has set aside agricultural land for 400 acres of grassland, 110 miles of conservation margins, over 80 miles of hedgerow maintenance and coppicing and 100 acres of wild bird cover. There are also ancient woodland sites.

The estate has an extensive residential and commercial property portfolio, including seven barn
conversions. There are dog walking meadows and 13 miles of permitted access.
