Silverstone Circuit is set in over 600 acres and is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted in 1948. It is now a globally renowned motorsport venue.
The CLA AGM will take place in the Silverstone Wing Auditorium, a venue used by racing drivers during their media briefings on race days.
This will be followed by a tour of the site and an opportunity to learn about Escapade Silverstone - a
project that consists of a development of 60 luxury residences for purchase that will enable buyers to call a piece of Silverstone their own.
You will hear about the former farming operations at Silverstone and the logistics of managing a venue, which during a Grand Prix weekend can attract over 400,000 people.
After lunch there is an opportunity for you to visit the Silverstone Interactive Museum, which opened
in 2019 in a former Second World War RAF hangar. It contains artefacts, archives and collections of
educational and historical value.
Silverstone is switching to 100% renewable energy, and by this summer, the venue will be fully powered by renewable energy sources. Low and zero-carbon liquid fuels and gases are used for the facilities, and the energy centre at The Wing, a conference and exhibition centre, is run on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) biofuel.
