CLA North: Women's Network visit to the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre

The Event is now fully booked
CLA North Women's Network invites you to a talk and tour at The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre in Lancashire.

Established in 1991, The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre was the UK’s first charity dedicated to ex-racehorse welfare, rehabilitation, retraining, rehoming and protection for life. To celebrate the charity’s 25th anniversary in 2016 TRC evolved and became The British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre.

The BTRC is a Centre of Excellence, not only for the retraining of thoroughbreds, but also as an education centre to ensure best practice is maintained in this ever increasingly popular area of the equestrian pleasure industry.

At the BTRC they aim to help as many horses as possible each year to be rehomed, these horses either come straight from the racing industry or pre-trained equestrian homes that for many reasons can no longer cope or care for the horse.

Agenda:

10.30 am - Registration, teas and coffees
11am - Talk from the team
11.30am - Tour of the centre
12.30pm - Lunch at Longlands Hotel

**Bookings for this event will close on 6th June so we can provide numbers for catering purposes**
