The Midlands team are delighted to invite you to a bespoke visit for the Cheshire AGM at Manor House Stables.

We are delighted to offer members an exciting opportunity to visit Manor House Stables, based in the tranquil surroundings of rural Cheshire, the perfect environment for racehorses to achieve their full potential.

Manor House Stables is set in 170 acres of glorious Cheshire countryside. Significant investment has seen the facilities develop from what was originally a dairy farm to a world class racehorse training facility. An outstanding range of gallops is complemented by state-of-the-art veterinary facilities, and an indoor equine swimming pool complete with a heated horse walker. 

The horses also benefit from the use of the equine spa, and the electro vibration plate. The horses are stabled in magnificent well-aired barns and the central office building contains a well-appointed owners entertaining facility, complete with a commanding view of the yard.

Hugo Palmer joined forces with Michael Owen and Manor House Stables in March 2022 and since then the partnership has progressed from strength to strength. With an admirable strike rate Hugo has quickly established himself as one of the country’s leading young trainers.

You will be taken out onto the gallops, have a tour of the yard and the facilities and meet the trainers Michael Owen and Hugo Palmer. This is an amazing opportunity for racing enthusiasts or those keen to learn a bit more about the sport, behind the scenes and get a real feel for the horses, the yard and the Manor House Stables team.

After the tour, the AGM will take place and you will also hear from a CLA speaker Ben Underwood, Director or Memberships and Regions. The day will conclude with a canapé lunch and drinks.

Please ensure to wear suitable footwear and clothing as the tours will take place outdoors.
