Breakfast Seminar – What are the challenge and opportunities for Biodiversity Net Gain and Neutrality?

This seminar will focus on sustainability related to Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Nutrient Neutrality (NN) and its relevance to farmers and landowners. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session

Breakfast rolls, teas and coffees will be provided. Please register your attendance to avoid disappointment and for catering purposes.

• Martin Hanson, Head of Agriculture at HSBC, will set out his thoughts on the ‘direction of travel’ in relation to natural capital and how sustainability will potentially define future agricultural financing
• Calum Gillhespy, Director at GSC Grays, will present some practical examples to root the policy in ‘real life’ whilst also referring to insights gathered from their Farm Business Advice Service
• Susan Twining, CLA Chief Land Use Policy Adviser, will briefly explore existing policy developments, as well as potential future trends regarding BNG and NN, and the implications for land use
