The Midlands team are delighted to invite you to a bespoke visit for the Herefordshire AGM at the Harley Estate.
We are delighted to offer members an exciting opportunity to visit the Harley Estate set in the magnificent and historic border county of Herefordshire and Shropshire.
The Harley Estate has been owned by the same family since the Domesday book. It came into the Harley line over 700 years ago when Robert Harley married Margaret de Brampton in 1309. The estate encompasses a range of rural based enterprises from farming, forestry and rental properties as well being a film location. The centre of the Estate is the village of Brampton Bryan with residential, commercial and sporting lettings.
The afternoon will begin with welcome refreshments including tea and coffee, followed by the AGM and guest speaker CLA President Mark Tufnell. You will enjoy a posh picnic lunch on the Cricket Field (weather dependant) before a tour of the historic park, and discussions around SSSI, water quality and flooding. There will also be a visit to Brampton Bryan castle followed by afternoon tea and cake at The Old Dairy.
