CLA South West Webinar: Rural Business and finance - Types of borrowing and what they are best used for

Businesses borrow money for many reasons – expansion, working capital and debt restructuring.  Choosing the right type of borrowing is a key component of making the funds work for you and of business success.

If a business does not choose the optimal structure or structures for its borrowing, they can often end up paying more for the borrowing than they need to – both in terms of the amount paid in interest, and also because it may not be the most tax efficient method of borrowing either.

In this webinar we will look at some of the most common types of borrowing used by rural businesses, what they are most suited to, and the impact that they have on a business’ accounts and tax.

Panel- Duncan Anderson Margetts, CLA Advisor. Tom Stone, Farms & Estates Director, Albert Goodman Accountants. Matthew Smart of Rural Asset Finance Ltd.

A webinar link will be sent a few days prior to the event once registered.
