Brought to you by the CLA, NFU, Environment Agency, Catchment Sensitive Farming, Severn Trent Water, and Andersons, this webinar will feature expert speakers from the worlds of farm business management and environmental policy and bring attendees up to date with the latest key information from across the sector. The second instalment of Green Futures 2024 will bring attendees up to speed with developments in the agricultural transition period with NFU’s Richard Wordsworth outlining the key information regarding BPS cuts and de-linking. We will also be joined by Dr. Adam Freer of Severn Trent Water who will discuss current grant opportunities and water issues for the farming sector in the region. The CLA’s Chief Land Use Policy Adviser, Susan Twining, will introduce and explain the forthcoming Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and the recently launched Local Nature Recovery Strategies directive.
