Hear about regenerative farming, nature conservation, property management and farm diversification during a visit to the stunning Hatfield Park Estate.
The estate has been subject to centuries of carefully considered stewardship. During a coach tour, you will see the wonderful natural landscape which includes parkland, woodland and farms.
You will learn about the team’s dedication to enhancing both the natural and built environments. You will discover how the estate has amended its farming and land management practices and its thinking around regenerative agriculture.
The estate aims to decarbonise in future and work is taking place to fully understand its carbon footprint. Investment has taken place in green energy production, whilst further opportunities are being explored.
There is a significant residential lettings portfolio at Hatfield Park which includes a diverse range of properties. In addition, the estate is home to over 100 independent businesses. There is also a unique conference and wedding venue.
During the day you will hear about the estate’s ambitious plans to regenerate Old Hatfield and develop new neighbourhoods within Welwyn Hatfield. These will provide homes, employment opportunities, schools, community facilities and green spaces.
