The Midlands team are delighted to invite you to a bespoke visit to Spetchley Estate and Worcestershire AGM.
The Spetchley Estate, just outside Worcester, is a thriving rural business, comprising of agricultural, residential, commercial and development elements with a charitable arm that runs the well-known Spetchley Park Gardens. It is an expanding business looking to combine progressive, innovative ideas with a desire to protect its environs as well as those who live and work there.
The day will begin with the AGMs and an update on the latest issues affecting members by CLA President Victoria Vyvyan and an introduction to Spetchley Estate.
The day will include include a talk with estate owner Henry Berkeley, passionate about ensuring the estate’s survival in an increasingly difficult times: a look at one of the new agricultural ventures with Rob Harvard (https://www.phepsonangus.com/ourpeople) the estate is embarking on and a tour of some of the commercial and residential building projects being undertaken including redeveloping old agricultural buildings into residential and commercial buildings.
There will be a two-course lunch before reverse tours in the afternoon.
Please ensure to wear suitable footwear and clothing as the tours will take place outdoors.
