Tennants is Europe’s largest privately owned Fine Art and Antiques Auctioneers and one of North Yorkshire's, leading businesses that has been established in Wensleydale for four generations. Over 80 fast-moving live auctions are held every year, making Tennants one of the UK’s busiest salerooms.
Aside from the thriving auctions business, Tennants’ on-site events venue The Garden Rooms hosts a lively programme of lectures, events, exhibitions, weddings and celebrations. As a result, Tennants has become a popular visitor destination which welcomes more than 150,000 visitors every year.
This behind-the-scenes talk and tour at Tennants’ state-of-the-art salerooms and galleries, is a unique opportunity to discover more about this dynamic and fascinating business, meet Tennants’ specialist valuation team and discover some of the secrets of the salerooms.
The talk and tour is taking place during Tennants’ Fine Sales Week, one of the highlights of the annual auctions calendar when the very best Fine Art, Antiques, Pictures, Jewellery, Watches and Silver will be on public view before going under the hammer on Saturday 16 November. Also on view will be The Selected Contents of Bell Hall, Naburn, York which will be sold on Friday 15 November.
