Forestry Conference 2024 - Products, People and Possibilities
The annual Forestry Conference, organised by the CLA, Forestry Commission and Grown in Britain, is back for a seventh year - with a highly topical theme and great line-up of speakers.
The 2024 focus is 'Products, People and Possibilities', and will feature a packed programme of sessions and talks:
Keynote speaker Forestry Minister, Mary Creagh
Additional speakers and case studies will include:
- Rob Penn, journalist, broadcaster and trustee of Woodland Heritage
- Guy Nevill, Birling Estate
- Dan Geerah, director of growth, Land App
- Polly Goodman, UK Hardwoods
- John Deakin, head of trees and woodlands at the National Trust
- Neil Macdonald, woodland ambassador, apple farmer and woodland owner
- Richard Stanford, Forestry Commission CEO
- Graham Taylor, director of Pryor & Rickett Silviculture
CLA President Victoria Vyvyan will kick off proceedings.
The conference is normally attended by up to 200 foresters, farmers, landowners, land managers and other stakeholders from across the country, and provides a strong platform to hear from a range of experts and case studies, share experiences, network and collaborate.

Tickets include a full day's programme, lunch, and tea and coffee.
These are priced at:
£110 +VAT for CLA members and Grown in Britain certificate holders
£135 +VAT for non-members.
