CLA North: Westmorland Show CLA Charitable Trust Beneficiaries Talk

Have you often wondered where your Charitable Trust Subscription is donated to?

Well please come and join us at the stand and the show. We have representatives from two organisations Growing Well a Mental Health Charity and Susan’s Farm, a Care Farm for the local community. They will be highlighting what their organisations do, the impact and importance locally why the CLA Charitable Trust has been so important in helping them achieve these outcomes.

Our speakers will be a Kerry-anne Carruthers Community Events and Engagement Officer from Susan's Farm and Paul Cambre Head of Horticulture, Growing Well

The CLA Charitable Trust, founded in 1980 and funded mainly by CLA members' donations, supports access to the countryside for disadvantaged people. Since its inception, it has awarded over £2m in grants. The Trust provides educational bursaries in the rural sector and supports various charities, community projects, and non-profits in England and Wales. In 2022, it offered 61 grants, totalling over £236k. The Trust's impact relies on the work of its grant recipients.
