Join us for the 2025 CLA Institutional Landowners’ Conference ‘Maximising the potential of your rural assets’ – an unmissable event for anyone working on behalf of, or with, institutional landowners.
At this year’s event, we will uncover the ways in which institutions are managing land to successfully achieve multiple objectives. We will hear from those who manage strategic land, building homes and creating communities, and learn how the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives of institutions can lead to real business opportunities too, such as offsetting your own environmental impact or providing space for others to offset.
Speakers include:
- Karl Deane, Deputy CEO of Grosvenor Hart Homes, will outline its unique approach to deliver 700 affordable houses, not just concentrating on building homes but creating communities that give support for vulnerable children, young people and their families.
- Darren Moorcroft, CEO of the Woodland Trust, will outline the increase in investment in trees, the Trust’s role in offsetting, and the growth of carbon markets and the outlook for the future.
Social benefits that are so important – and demonstrate the wider advantages beyond an individual project – are often not measured. CLA’s survey into social outputs delivered by members, published in July 2024, revealed some astounding figures and an in-depth analysis will be presented at the conference.
Whatever the main direction of your business investment, the multiple use of your assets will deliver a greater combined benefit. The 2025 CLA Institutional Landowners’ Conference gives you the opportunity to see how others manage their rural portfolio and the benefits they deliver. In addition to the thought-provoking presentations, there will be ample opportunity to network and share experiences.
