The CLA will update you on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, proposed changes to compulsory purchase, the upcoming National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) consultation, Housing, Community and Local Government (HCLG) inquiry into land value capture, the CLA’s Landowner Incentives Taskforce and wider work on affordable rural housing.
There will be presentations from Catesby Estates, HCR Hewitsons, Saffery and Savills with insight into:
• The development potential of your land and what it could be worth
• Opportunities for maximising value
• Promotion agreements versus option agreements
• Cost of obtaining planning permission and the planning process
• Risks and strategies when gaining planning permission
• Disposals and legacy
You will also have a tour of Alconbury Weald in Cambridgeshire, which was previously part of RAF Alconbury.
