Join us for an insightful talk from the
Duke of Norfolk
as we kick off the South of England Show 2026 in style.
Edward Norfolk was born in London and educated at Ampleforth College in Yorkshire before studying PPE at Lincoln College, Oxford graduating in 1977. He then joined Coopers & Lybrand working as an accountant.
In 1979 he set up Sigas, an LPG company in the East End of London which he sold in 1988. He then started Parkwood, a waste management business which he sold to Viridor in 2002. He has been involved in many other small businesses ever since and he is currently an investor in fifteen Venture Capital startups and on the Board of seven of them.
He succeeded to the title of The Duke of Norfolk on the death of his father in 2002 and he is particularly interested in the building up of his family estates in Sussex, Norfolk and Yorkshire. He was also responsible for the delivery of The Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and The Coronation of King Charles III.
This free breakfast event, supported by Batcheller Monkhouse and Warners Solicitors, will also include a Q&A.
We are offering this to our members and their guests free of charge however spaces are booked on a first come
first served basis so please do be quick in booking to avoid disappointment.
Due to the popularity of this event, any business professionals wanting to attend will be limited to two places per business.
Please note that while the breakfast is free this does not include entry in to the showground and you will need purchase
a show ticket.
