MIKE WARNER
Mike is a born and bred Suffolk food writer, specialising in telling the ‘Net to Plate’ story of how our seasonal and regional British catch is caught and landed. Mike is passionate about the sustainability of not just our native fish stocks, but the fishing communities themselves; their tradition, culture and heritage. He is also an independent seafood and fisheries consultant, working with mainly hospitality and media clients to help  forge the traceability connection and better understanding of the realities of seafood production. He is a member of the ‘Guild of Food Writers’, a trustee of the fishermen’s charity ‘Fishing into the Future’ and Chairman of the ‘Shellfish Association of Great Britain’.
