CLA Stand at Yorkshire Show, Yorkshire Showground ,
HG2 8NZ
FREE to attend and includes a slice of cake and a tea or coffee
We are delighted to invite you to join us at the CLA stand during the Great Yorkshire Show for our Tuesday afternoon panel, kindly supported by Youngs RPS and Hall Brown Family Law.
Chaired by CLA President Gavin Lane, this panel will explore the multi-generational demands facing family businesses, offering practical guidance on business structure, accounting and strategic planning. It will also examine how factors such as marriage, divorce and inheritance tax (IHT) shape both short- and long-term decision-making.
We are delighted to be joined by Hugh Carter a progressive County Durham farmer, Farmers Weekly Poultry Farmer of the Year, and joint owner of Rest at Nest, a collection of luxury treehouses, waterside lodges and countryside retreats set on the family's Red Hurworth Farm. Renowned for his innovative, data-driven approach to free-range egg production.
Our panel speakers:
- Gavin Lane - CLA
- Zoe Coulson - Youngs RPS
- Sarah Hewitt - Hall Brown
- Hugh Carter - Farmer

Each speaker will give their thoughts, followed by a wider panel discussion which will include questions from the audience.
Please note: Registration for this CLA event does not include entry to the Great Yorkshire Show and attendees must purchase a separate Show ticket to gain admission. CLA members who are farmers can purchase discounted farmer tickets via www.greatyorkshireshow.co.uk/farmers/
