Practical advice for rural businesses & personal protection: staying safe, secure and prepared

Cyber Crime is a growing threat to rural businesses, and no one can afford to ignore it. You will get practical advice to help safeguard your business and personally. This event is for both personal and business protection. It is estimated that 5.19 million businesses have been subject to cyber crime.

You will hear from Daniel Thomas, at The Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) for the West Midlands and Paul Wolferstan at Rugosus who will explain why cyber security matters more than ever and share straightforward steps businesses can take to reduce risk. The session will focus on the growing relevance of cyber security within rural industries, supply chains and increasingly technology-dependant operations, while also showcasing practical support available through the CRC’s. Rugosus will also outline associated free tools and resources.

Expect real-life case studies, insight into the latest threats facing rural enterprises and practical measures you can put in place.
